North Spore Sawdust Spawn Thumb Press Log Inoculation Tool
Terms and Conditions
Shipping: 2-3 Business Days
Our spring-loaded thumb press log
inoculation tool is ideal for injecting sawdust spawn into holes drilled
on logs. The ribbed anti-slip handle decreases friction that causes
blistering, and the single-hand use design allows the other hand to
steady the log during inoculation. With regular cleaning and proper
storage, it should last for many years.
Caring for your inoculation tool:
Sawdust spawn residue can build up in your tool, making it feel sticky or causing the plunger to freeze. If this happens, soak in hot soapy water for 30 minutes, then push down on the head of the tool to loosen any debris.
Periodically check the head of the tool to make sure it is not coming unscrewed. The tool can be tightened by using a large flat head screwdriver. Insert the screwdriver into the groove on the tip, hold onto the head and lightly twist the screwdriver until tight.
Grip dimensions 4”(L) 1.25”(W)
